HOW TO ROOT XIAOMI REDMI 2 WITHOUT PC

Rooting a smartphone can be a very difficult task specially when you don't have any idea about coding and commands. Sometimes there is a risk of  " Bricking " your phone if something goes wrong during the rooting process. But many smartphones like Xiaomi Redmi 2 can be rooted easily without a PC  and without knowing a single bit about coding.

Rooted users also known as super users can chang  the boot animation, convert external storage to internal, delete useless system apps and can even run different ROMS i.e. they can run another smartphones UI on their phone and can even upgrade to the latest android version even before it is released for your model. Their are many more advantages of rooting a smartphone. When you are rooting Xiaomi Redmi 2 you don't need to worry about the warranty getting void because Xiaomi encourages users to root their phones and doesn't nullify their warranty. Their are many ways by which you can root your Xiaomi Redmi 2 but today I am going to show you the simplest way of doing it.

SO HOW TO ROOT XIAOMI REDMI 2 WITHOUT PC?

• First of all you need to download 1 file :

This file works on any Xiaomi Redmi 2 model and is compatible with any version of MIUI. So there is no need to worry about the model number or the UK version.  

• After you have downloaded the file store it in the internal or external storage of the phone.
• Now open the updater on your phone as shown in the picture. Click on the (...)  three dots and select "Choose Update Package".

• Your file manager will open up just select the downloaded file and wait for your phone to reboot. It may take some time so don't panic. 

If the the rooting is successful you will see a new app named SuperUser. This app is going to give the root permission to the apps.
